About Arvind
I am the Founder and Director of Bethel Evangelistic And Rehabilitation Centre, in Elathagiri, of Tamilnadu state, in South India. We are a registered,tax exempted and an accountable national NGO.
Bethel is Located at Elathagiri, Village in Tamilnadu state of India. This region is the most under developed one. The litarecy rate is 20% and the rain fall annually is 18% and 85% live in rural villages. And this District takes the first place in consuming liqure. HIV/Aids also is prevelant.
Our aim is to serve the poorest of the poor in rural villagers and develop them hoilstically; irrespective of ones, clolor, creed and community background.
I am 58 and I am married to my godly wife Molly and we are blessed with 4 adult kids.
Apart from being a social Worker I am a soul winner and a minister of the Gospel.
It is under the divine appontment that I am here and the service we render to the kids and to the community is God centred. We are honestly burdened for the poor and serve them with a vision of holistic and total development.

Basically I am a church Planter and a Social worker. I am moved with compassion when I see people suffer, orphaned, widowed, hungry, nacked or sick. My mission is to help them till they are able to help thesmselves and move on to a dignified life.
As the Director of Bethel, I introduce Our Orphanage with 25 kids. This is 8 years old and supported by one or two friends. We give them a real home, love, care, education and vocational training.
Bethel also works with youth, women and the elderly.

After my High sachool I finished my B.th, then worked with an International Mission Organization/church and finally I am led by the Lord to start this work in the most, backward and underdeveloped region of Tamilnadu state.
At 58, njo time for hobbies! yet I watch Tv, news and sports, I play key board, I am very much a photographer, good cook, I read books apart from my busy Christian Life and mimnistry.
