Bethel Orphanage is run by Bethel Evangelistic And Rehabilitation Centre, in Krishnagir District of Tamilnadu state; in India. There are 14 boys, 11 Girls and 54 staff. Bethel gives the kids a real home and gives a Christ centred service for the total development of the kids. We train them vocationally and even save a little money on each one of hem for their future. Bethel is 8 years old.

Bethel was supported by hand counted Individuals, who helped us this far and they are not in a possition any more to sponsor the kids. We have been trying to raise from International community to continue the home and I am afraid that we are not successful.
I am now afraid that we will have to close the Orphanager from 1st.May -2008, if we do not find, source of support.
It takes 40$,as an over all expense to maitain a child.

 New Challenges

Brother in the Lord,

Warm Greetings of the "Passover"!

I am thinking of you a lot these days! We are facing a new challenge now!

I purchased this Campus in 1980 as my personal property from an old man. This
is half an acre. (50 Cents. 1cent of land is 486 Squ.Ft). Now the children
claim that we have 53 cents of land. And this is true as we have a registered
deed. But when the government Surveyors, measured this land, in our absence for
their record and sketch purpose they have issued "Patta" for 53 cents
of land.

1. Patta is irrevocable.

2. The land owner has 6 acres of land and instead of showing 4 land marks in
the deed they

showed only 2 and now it is difficult to correctly measure
the land.

3. I am willing to give money to the extra 3 cents of land, but it must be
registered. this is not

not possible as land under this patta is already a
registered property.

The
land owner is a non christian and he is a illicit Arrack seller. He came to the
campus with so many people to discuss. We finally concluded, that hew would
sell us half an acre land( 24,300 S.Q.Ft) Now he will give 3 cents less but we
will have to register it as 50 cents. The cost of land for square Feet will be
$. 1.50./-

The
Catholics are building an Arts
College just very
opposite to our campus and naturally this is a golden opportunity to buy this
land for the use of the ministry.

1. We need separate Girl's block.

2. We need a burial ground.

3. To build shopping complex to raise self support project.

help us with this urgent need. On the 5th April I have to give an advance of
Rs.50,000/-(1,500 $)

Co-Workers in Christ Jesus,

Warm and
Loving New Year Greetings to You in the Matchless name of Christ who is coming
to take His church soon! I am sending this letter from India,
the hottest mission fields in the world and also known as 20/40, window.
From the times of Apostle Thomas, this country is being
evangelized for Christ by many saints of the Lord and yet the percentage of
Christians never raised more than 5%! And in the recent years the Christians
face stiff resistance from the pro-hindu fanatics and militant groups,
resulting in killings and burning of churches. This New Year 2008 began with
the burning down of 11 churches in the state of Orissa with the fatal death of
new Christian brothers and sisters. And there are many untold incidents every
where! And this situation will increase and we the Indians as minorities need
Spiritual, moral, practical and monetary covering from the people of god from
around the world! 

 Bcmi-India
is a Church Planting ministry; reaching the rural poor and the unreached people
groups and plants churches where there is no church. We are a New Testament
church and confess our faith and creed with hundreds and thousands of
Christians around the world. We are not cults or extremist groups. Our faith is
based on the word of the Lord! We are Mission Oriented.

Are some
of the ministries we are now involved with.

 Our
2nd Mission is to the Church; Yes,
the unification of Independent Churches under one umbrella; if really want to
see India
reached for Christ! Presently we have under our care 30 associate churches. And
literally hundreds of them want to come under this umbrella! These churches are
functioning in rural villages. 100% of them are from non-Christian families and
communities from various caste systems. The pastors themselves are from this
background and none of them ever had, either a missionary training or a
pastoral training! Yet they have congregations numbering from 15 to 300 and
some even have branch churches. 

Can you
imagine the Spiritual responsibilities they owe to the young and old? The best
way to reach this nation is to make these new churches as disciple making
churches.

 I
still remember the days I spent with Operation Mobilization India; when as a
team leader how I could preach 10 to 15 sermons a day, in any village, visit
houses and distribute literature. But these days of freedom are gone and those
who venture do this risking their lives and safety. 

 Thirdly,
Bcmi-India is a national NGO, properly registered, accountable and tax
exempted! We are running an Orphanage as a supportive ministry and there are 25
kids and 5 staff. We need funds to keep each child well kept, educated,
vocationally trained and we save on each of them a little money every month for
their future. 

Micro
Loan to the members of the rural church members to invest on small enterprises
to earn a living needs funds. 

Bethel wants to be self supported by
Agriculture projects, Dairy and poultry. We need heavy funds for this project
too.

 I
now, call upon you to pray for our ministry. I invite you to come and visit us
and minister to us. Volunteers can come and stay with us for a few weeks and
impart their skills. And above all you can now decide to bring us under your
“Shepherd Care”, so that together we may grow as a large and deep rooted tree,
shooting forth branches from one state of India to another! Globalization has
one advantage for the Christians in the west; that you can chose an employment
for some months or for 2 years in India
and become a bridge, connecting Asia and the
west!
